HIPS Edusave Character Award (ECHA) Nomination Form for Parents
The Ministry Of Education introduced the Edusave Character Award (ECHA) in 2012 to enable schools to recognise students who demonstrate exemplary character and outstanding personal qualities through their behaviour and actions. Believing in the value of strong home-school partnerships and parental involvement, the school has opened the nomination of ECHA to parents since then.
Students must satisfy the following eligibility criteria before they can be considered for the ECHA.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nominee must be a Singapore Citizen.
- He/she must have a conduct grade of “very-good” or better for both semester.
- He/she must have at least 1 CCA (for P4 - P6 students).
- He/she must have consistently demonstrated good character/school values and has been a good and giving citizen. Supporting examples should demonstrate the above-mentioned traits.
- Students who have met the above-mentioned criteria and demonstrated resilience (compulsory for P4 - P6 students) despite facing challenging situations at home or in school should be highlighted as well.
Submission of parent’s nomination for ECHA 2024 is closed.
