PE Programme

Physical Education is an important part of the school’s instructional programme. It is the only area of the curriculum when motor skills & the study of human movement are presented. Since learning is a life-long process, the department strives to help each child learn and develop the basic tools so that learning can take place in an ever-changing environment.

Objectives

The PE programme strives to expose the child to a wide range of activities. Through these activities, it is hoped that the child will be able to:
  • develop an understanding in the study of human movement
  • develop an understanding of the importance of health related  activities and maintaining fitness throughout one’s lifetime
  • acquire fundamental motor skills, sports and movement skills
  • develop appropriate attitudes and social skills essential to successful participation
